Pastor Loyd Roper

Dear Reader,

We are pleased to be able to provide you with this excellent study book.

Bro. Roper, who has prepared this material and used it himself

within the church he pastors,

has kindly given this material to Sounding Out The Word ministry

to be printed and distributed at no charge

to those who could benefit from its use.

Our goal is to provide good, sound Bible study material

to all those who are in need of such.

We have primarily printed outline books,

but have been searching for other forms of material to print

that would be useful to a larger catagory of people -- non-preachers.

We have been blessed with teaching material in workbook and manuscript form

(as well as the 'usua ' outline form)

to help people with specific needs:

teaching about/f r deacons, women, lay people, etc.

This book extends our ability to offer helpful study material

to the new (young in the faith) convert.

We are excited to offer this book to you for use in learning more fully the basics

of the doctrines found in God's word.

We pray you will be blessed through he use of this book

and God would receive His rightful honor and glory.

Thank you Bro. Roper for your efforts in the preparation of this material

and sharing it with others through the Sounding Out The Word Ministry.

  B. The reason or the word BAPTIZE being transliterated
     instead ofb ing translated:

England Elders -- and they were told to not take
anything away from the Church of England
 C. The translat on of the Greek word, "Baptize" means to
    "dip" or "i merse".
 D. Scriptural e amples to prove this:

     you.
 3. Rom. 10:13 s ys - calling on God will bring the new birth.
This would n t be possible if baptism were required.
 4. If baptism w re essential to the salvation of the (spirit man),
then God's s lvation would be limited to men's actions.
 5. There has be n and always will be only one way for a
