Tithe

Catholic doctrine from the old law.

Why is it promoted so much today?

It produces more money.

Valid Support

-- Is it 10% of take home pay??

Everyone knows how much to give

-- Do not need the Holy Spirit to lead him

-- Even the lost can put in much money

Pride - Self glory

-- Look what I did

Self Justification

--I did my part, nothing else needed

--I did my part, now you do yours

Fear - God will get you

many are weak and sickly among you,

and many sleep.

God's lotto, winner every time

-- Play on greed

. . . if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing,

that there shall not be room enough to receive it. . . .

2 And all nations shall call you blessed: . . .

The widow gave all that she had

all her living

And there came a certain poor widow,

and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing

"... she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had."

Support of the ministry

All support is by free will offerings.

There are no required membership dues, fees, taxes or tithes
