a. The Road
i. Compacted and hardened,
not ready to receive seed.

i. Ready to receive, but no room for root,
so the plant cannot withstand trouble
ii. We do a disservice when we present the gospel
as if we will not have problems
c. The Weeds/Thorns
i. Able to receive, but choked out by the cares of the road
ii. Ensure that you are not having the true gospel
choked out by the world
d. The Good Soil
i. Having been turned over,
rocks and weeds cleared,
able to receive salvation
