- a. One seed, 4 types of soil
- i. Road
- ii. Rocks
- iii. Weeds
- iv. Good ground
- b. The Sower is the preacher/witness
- c. The Seed is the gospel
- d. The Soil is the hearer
- e. The fruit is salvation
- i. Only one soil receives salvation
2. Why does Jesus speak in parables? Matthew 10-17
- a. To confound, not to clarify
- i. Vs 13 “Therefore speak I to them in parables:
- because they seeing see not;
- and hearing they hear not,
- neither do they understand”

- ii. Ensure that you are not having the true gospel
