Once you are saved you are always saved
That is you can not lose your salvation.
- 9 If we confess our sins,
- he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
How many times can you be cleansed from all unrighteousness?
What makes you righteous in the first place.
Only the blood of Jesus.
Past, present and future sin is forgiven
as far as the East is from the West.
The majority of people do not believe this,
as they assume that some kind of work is needed to get,
or keep salvation.
that sends you to hell,
you have not believed in Jesus.
It is not your salvation
but it is God's salvation.
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation.
Salvation is by grace, through faith,
and not of works . . .
You must believe, and ask God to save you,
and there is nothing you can do to get unsaved.
The Holy Spirit resides with the person at the moment of salvation,
never to depart. Fellowship with God can not be broken
Criticism then is, that you can do anything
after you are saved and still go to heaven.
Does that mean that you should live in sin?
As a child of God, you are punished when you do wrong,
not as a penalty, but to bring you back on the right path.
It is better for you to judge yourself,
and start doing right,
than to let God judge you.
- 31 For if we would judge ourselves,
- we should not be judged.
- 32 But when we are judged,
- we are chastened of the Lord,
- that we should not be condemned with the world.
