The main objective of Bethel Baptist Church

is to carry out the work the Lord gave us in Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In verse 19 we are instructed to teach all nations.

I would like to share with you

exactly what we are to teach to these nations.

We Are Sinners

Romans 3.23

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

This tells me that no matter how good of a person you are

you can not reach God’s standards.

We are born with the nature to sin.

This is called sin nature.

Because We Are Sinners We Are Destined For Hell

Romans 6.23

23 For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 3.18

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

In both of these verses we are told how serious is our condition.

We are condemned to a place of suffering,

all because we are sinners.

You must know that there is nothing you can do to avoid this place.

You are born a sinner and that alone makes you guilty.

God Loves You And Made A Way For You To Escape Hell

And Gain A Relationship With Him

John 3.16

16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

This verse shows us the love of the Father in heaven.

He gave his only begotten Son so we can have everlasting life.

The requirement is that we must put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

Jesus took our sins and paid the price.

Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith

Ephesians 2.8-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If you have not been saved,

I pray that you will put your faith in Jesus.

we are here for you

Life can be difficult, God understands this.

One of the functions of a church is to love and support each other.

We are here to help support our community.

Whether you are looking for a church home, needing prayer,

or have questions about your spiritual well being;

we would love to hear from you.
