Church in prospect
Landmark Baptists vehemently deny the existence of a church
of which all regenerated people in this age are a part.
“The kingdom of Christ, of God, of heaven,
is constituted of the sum total of all his true visible churches as constituents,
which churches are the sole judges and executives
of the laws and ordinances of the kingdom.”
J R Graves
What is bound on earth will be bound in heaven. <ref>
It is prospective in the sense
that it does not now exist
but will come into existence in heaven.
A future time when all the saved
shall be gathered together in heaven.
The many local churches will make one great universal church,
all together, local and visible and general.
Ones that never united with a Church
will be guests at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb
including Old Testament saints.
{{{a church made up of all the redeemed from this age
is in prospect.}}} WRONG
there is not now but there will be a general assembly of Christ’s people.
{That general assembly will be composed {{{of all the redeemed of all time. }}}WRONG
