A Debt We Cannot Pay

Jesus loves you:

He wants you to have his forgiveness, peace and joy.

John 3.16

For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth on him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

The debt:

Everyone has sinned. Your sin separates you from God.

Romans 3.23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God...

The payment:

Only the sinless Jesus was worthy to pay our debt of sin with his death on the cross.

Romans 5.8

But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

John 14.6

Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The acceptance:

Your debt of sin has been covered,

but you must personally accept this free gift of salvation through repentance and faith.

Romans 10.9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Will you repent of your sin,

turn to Jesus and trust Him as your Lord and Savior today?
