Text: Hebrews 11.3
Introduction:
A. Chapter e even of Hebrews does not name all the great me and women of faith, but only a few of the more presentative ones, of verses 32 and 36.
B. There a not enough books to name all the faithful.
1. But Go has a record of every one, Luke 10:20.
2. Today, in every generation, there are men and women of utstanding faith.
3. When t e Lord returns, He will find faith on the earth, Luk 18:8.
C. Most of t e people with great faith have very quietly se ed God. They never boasted of their faith, but asted of Christ who suffered and died to authen cate their faith.
D. This m ge will mention the faith of these unassumi g, unnamed masses who in spite of their trials quie ly served God. May they challenge us to exercise ater faith in God.
I. BY FAITH EY WERE JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD, Romans 5:1.
A. Before s vation all mankind stands hopelessly guilty and condemned before God, Romans 3:23.

B. Justificati n means the believing sinner stands before G as clean and pure of sin as if he had never bee a sinner.

1. Procure and secures our peace with God, Romans 5:1.
2. Provide access to the riches of God. Faith is the key that op ns the door, Romans 5:2.
3. Produce joy in hope of the glory of God, Romans 5:2.

4. Protects the believer from God's wrath against sin, Romans 5:95. Effects reconciliation of the sinner toward God, Romans 5:1O,1l. lET FAITH THERE IS NO RESPECT OF PERS NS IN THE CHURCH, James 2:1-5.
A. Wh ther rich or poor, educated or illiterate, all are eq ally entitled to the privileges of the church, ve es 2-4.

2. Often the poor exercise greater faith than the rich. By faith they, too, become children of God, and "heirs of the kingdom."

(1) Abraham believed God for salvation, James 2:23; but

IS AN EFFECTIVE SHIELD AGAINST OPHE.
Eve believer should take the shield of faith.
1. t is his protection from the fiery darts of the wicked, phesians 6:16. is a breastplate for safeguarding the heart, phesians 6:14; I Thessalonians 5:8. e breastplate is righteousness-good works, if you lease, Ephesians 6:14.
B. Fait , then, is excellent insurance.
IV. BY FAI BELIEVERS GAIN VICTORY OVER THE WORLD, I John 5:4,5; I Corinthians 15:57.
Conclusion:
A. Quiet faith is meek and humble.
