Quiet Faith

Text: Hebrews 11.3

Introduction:

A. Chapter e even of Hebrews does not name all the great me and women of faith, but only a few of the more presentative ones, of verses 32 and 36.

B. There a not enough books to name all the faithful.

2. Today, in every generation, there are men and women of utstanding faith.

3. When t e Lord returns, He will find faith on the earth, Luk 18:8.

C. Most of t e people with great faith have very quietly se ed God. They never boasted of their faith, but asted of Christ who suffered and died to authen cate their faith.

D. This m ge will mention the faith of these unassumi g, unnamed masses who in spite of their trials quie ly served God. May they challenge us to exercise ater faith in God.

I. BY FAITH EY WERE JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD, Romans 5:1.

A. Before s vation all mankind stands hopelessly guilty and condemned before God, Romans 3:23.

Eve believer should take the shield of faith.

IV. BY FAI BELIEVERS GAIN VICTORY OVER THE WORLD, I John 5:4,5; I Corinthians 15:57.

A. Quiet faith is meek and humble.
