Note that the 3.5 year reign of the beast

does not begin until after the witnesses are slain

Revelation 11:7

Revelation 13:5

which means that the 1260 “days of their prophecy”

Revelation 11:6 correspond to the first 3.5 years of the tribulation period,

the time of the seal and trumpet judgments.

Revelation 11:3

And I will give power unto my two witnesses,

and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days,

clothed in sackcloth.

Revelation 12:6

And the woman fled into the wilderness,

where she hath a place prepared of God,

that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days
