Jesus endured more pain and hardship

than we could possibly imagine.

He felt the daggers of betrayal and denial

from His closest friends.

The cross is a cruel way to die

It takes a long time.

Pain from nails in hands and feet

To get a breath of air

one must push up on the nails in the feet

To end the life, the legs are broken

one can no longer get a breath of air

They gave gall and vineger to help kill the pain

Jesus did not accept it until the very end <ref>

They did not break the legs of Jesus

They were surprised that He was dead so quickly

Prophecy said His bones would not be broken <ref>
