Festival of Weeks (or Feast of Weeks)
was celebrated at the end of the grain harvest Exodus 34.22
which occurred fifty days after the wave offering of Passover
day of Pentecost

- 8 But ye shall receive power,
- after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
- and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
- and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
- and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
- This is talking to the Church
- not individuals
- Those baptized believers already had the Holy Spirit
- on the Day of Pentecost
- The Church was started when Jesus was baptized
- He was a member and head of His Church
