IV. POINTS TO . aTE - WHY BAPTISM DOES NOT SAVE


  1. Baptism is al ays referred to as a burial. Rom. 6:4
     We are save by a birth. John 3:1-6
 2. There is one   ediator between God and man.

     If Baptism     essential to the New Birth, then there would
     be two medi tors -- God and someone else who baptizes
     you.
 3. Rom. 10:13 s ys - calling on God will bring the new birth.
    This would n t be possible if baptism were required.
 4. If baptism w re essential to the salvation of the (spirit man),
    then God's s lvation would be limited to men's actions.
 5. There has be n and always will be only one way for a
    person to be aved from an unsaved condition -- in all
    ages. Ifbapti m were essential, then it would mean a
    different plan is used in this age as related to the past.
